Welcome to Minigram ("App", "we", "our", or "us"), a messaging and channel platform developed by DDC Studio. By downloading, installing, or using Minigram, you agree to this Privacy Policy.

This policy explains what information we collect, how we use it, and the choices you have regarding your information. We are committed to protecting your privacy and handling your data responsibly.

If you do not agree to this Privacy Policy, please do not use Minigram.

Account Information: When you register, we collect your full name, username (handle), email address, profile photo (optional), and bio (optional).

Messages & Content: Your messages, images, captions, and channel posts are stored on Firebase Realtime Database to enable real-time communication. Direct messages are accessible only to the participants involved.

Usage Data: We collect your online/offline status, last seen timestamp, and device FCM (Firebase Cloud Messaging) token for push notification delivery.

Device Information: App version, device OS version, and crash logs (stored locally on your device via our CrashLogger) to help us improve stability.

We use the information we collect for the following purposes:

→App Functionality: To enable messaging, channels, notifications, and all core features of Minigram.
→Account Management: To authenticate you, recover your account, and manage your profile.
→Push Notifications: To deliver real-time message and channel post notifications using Firebase Cloud Messaging (FCM).
→App Improvement: To identify crashes and bugs so we can release fixes and improvements.
→Safety & Security: To detect abuse, enforce our policies, and protect all users.

We do NOT sell, rent, or trade your personal data to third parties for advertising or marketing purposes.

We may share your information only in the following limited circumstances:

→Service Providers: We use Google Firebase (Auth, RTDB, Storage, FCM) and Cashfree Payments (for in-app purchases). These providers process data on our behalf under their own privacy policies.
→Legal Obligations: We may disclose information if required by law, court order, or government authority in India.
→Safety: To protect the safety of users or the public in emergency situations.
→Business Transfer: In the event of a merger, acquisition, or sale of assets, your data may be transferred. We will notify you via in-app notice.

We implement industry-standard security measures to protect your information:

→Firebase Authentication with secure session management and OTP-based email verification
→Firebase Realtime Database Security Rules restricting access to authorized users only
→HTTPS encryption for all data in transit
→Biometric authentication support (fingerprint/face unlock) for app access
→Rate limiting on backend APIs to prevent brute-force attacks

While we take every precaution, no method of transmission over the internet is 100% secure. We cannot guarantee absolute security.

We retain your data for as long as your account is active or as needed to provide services:

→Messages: Stored until you or the other participant deletes them, or your account is deleted.
→Channel Posts: Retained until the channel owner or admin removes them.
→Account Data: Retained until you request account deletion. Upon deletion, your profile, messages, and associated data will be permanently removed within 30 days.
→Backup Copies: May persist in backup systems for up to 90 days after deletion.

You have the following rights regarding your personal data:

Access

Request a copy of the personal data we hold about you.

Correction

Update your profile information directly within the app via Edit Profile.

Deletion

Request deletion of your account and associated data at any time.

Portability

Request an export of your data in a machine-readable format.

Blocking

Block any user to prevent them from contacting you within the app.

Objection

Object to certain processing of your data where it is based on our legitimate interests.

Minigram is not intended for users under the age of 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13.

If we become aware that we have inadvertently collected data from a child under 13, we will take immediate steps to delete that information. If you believe a child under 13 has provided us with personal data, please contact us at minigram783@gmail.com.

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. When we make significant changes, we will notify you through:

→An update to the "Last Updated" date at the top of this page

Continued use of the app after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated policy.

Response Time

By downloading, installing, accessing, or using Minigram, you agree to be bound by these Terms & Conditions ("Terms"). These Terms constitute a legally binding agreement between you and DDC Studio.

If you do not agree to these Terms, you must immediately stop using the App and uninstall it from your device.

These Terms are governed by the laws of India, including the Information Technology Act, 2000 and its amendments.

To use Minigram, you must:

→Be at least 13 years of age
→If between 13 and 18, have parental/guardian consent
→Provide accurate and truthful registration information
→Not be barred from receiving services under applicable laws
→Have a valid Android device running Android 5.0 (Lollipop) or higher

You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account credentials and for all activities that occur under your account.

→You may only create one personal account. Creating multiple accounts to circumvent bans or restrictions is prohibited.
→Your @handle (username) must be unique, 4–20 characters, and may only contain letters (a-z), numbers (0-9), and underscores (_).
→You must immediately notify us of any unauthorized use of your account at minigram783@gmail.com.
→We reserve the right to suspend or terminate any account that violates these Terms.

You agree NOT to use Minigram to:

✗ Post or share illegal, defamatory, obscene, or pornographic content

✗ Harass, bully, threaten, or abuse other users

✗ Spam, send unsolicited messages, or engage in phishing

✗ Impersonate other individuals, brands, or entities

✗ Spread misinformation, fake news, or harmful propaganda

✗ Attempt to hack, reverse-engineer, or disrupt the App

✗ Share copyrighted content without appropriate rights or licenses

✗ Use bots or automated scripts without our written permission

Your Content: You retain ownership of any content you post on Minigram. By posting content, you grant DDC Studio a non-exclusive, royalty-free, worldwide license to host, display, and transmit that content solely for the purpose of operating the App.

Our Content: The Minigram app, its design, code, logo, name, and all related materials are the intellectual property of DDC Studio. You may not copy, modify, distribute, or create derivative works without our written consent.

Responsibility: You are solely responsible for the content you create, share, or post. DDC Studio is not liable for user-generated content.

Channels on Minigram are one-to-many broadcast tools. As a channel owner, you are responsible for all content posted in your channel.

→Channel handles must be unique and follow the same handle format rules as user accounts.
→Channel names must not impersonate existing brands, organizations, or public figures.
→We reserve the right to remove channels that violate our policies without prior notice.
→Private channels are not discoverable publicly; however, the owner is still bound by these Terms.

Minigram may offer premium features, subscriptions, or digital goods through Google Play In-App Billing and/or Cashfree Payments.

→All purchases are processed securely through Google Play or Cashfree, subject to their respective terms.
→Prices are listed in Indian Rupees (INR) and include applicable taxes.
→Refunds for in-app purchases are subject to Google Play's refund policy. We do not independently issue refunds except as required by law.
→Subscriptions auto-renew unless cancelled at least 24 hours before the renewal date.

Minigram is provided on an "AS IS" and "AS AVAILABLE" basis without warranties of any kind, express or implied.

To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, DDC Studio shall not be liable for:

→Any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages
→Loss of data, profits, or business interruption
→Unauthorized access to your account due to your own negligence
→Content posted by other users that you find offensive or harmful
→Service interruptions, bugs, or server downtime

We reserve the right to suspend or permanently terminate your access to Minigram at any time, without notice, if we determine that you have violated these Terms or applicable laws.

You may terminate your account at any time by contacting us. Upon termination:

→Your right to use the App ceases immediately
→Your data will be deleted as outlined in the Privacy Policy
→Any active subscriptions will not be automatically refunded

These Terms shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of India, including but not limited to:

→The Information Technology Act, 2000
→The Information Technology (Intermediary Guidelines and Digital Media Ethics Code) Rules, 2021
→The Consumer Protection Act, 2019

Any disputes arising out of these Terms shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of courts in Saharanpur, Uttar Pradesh, India. We encourage users to first attempt resolution by contacting us at minigram783@gmail.com.
